Last year, Cibele suffered a major car accident.  "Now I'm Wolverine, I'm all made of metal," she jokes. For her, what helped get though the tough moments was her high spirits and her humorous outlook on life. "At this moment, my recuperation is going well," she said.  "In the beginning, I was in shock because someone died.  I have moments when I think of the accident and I get very sad, but I have survived and life must go on."

While she was recuperating, Cibele wrote a book talking about the accident and Brazilian nightlife. "You guys think I'm just going to stand there and do nothing?" The book is called "5:00 am" and it will arrive in bookstores after Carnival.  The cover was done by Amy Edwards, who has worked on films like Fantastic Four, Underworld, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and Night at the Museum 2.  "This is the only book cover that Amy has ever done, and you know why? Because I asked cheekily."

Cibele affirmed that after the accident, she has turned over a new leaf to become a better person, a more "humane" person. "Today I'm writing better, because I read a lot while I was recuperating, and I'm also acting better, for I feel the things the actor has to feel in order to play out their role."
